He recently competed in his first collegiate track and field event Wednesday and Thursday in the Liberty Kickoff event at the Tolsma Indoor Track Center. He was a sprinter and competed in the 200 meter and 400 meter dash at the Liberty Kickoff.The driver, Abigail Jane Flower, 20, of Lynchburg, and a backseat passenger were transported to Roanoke Memorial Hospital for injuries sustained in the crash. Police charged Abigail Flower with reckless driving.
