Savanna Animals

The koala bear is an animal of the savanna. It lives in the eucalyptus gum trees. They get all their food and water from the moist leaves. Nocturnal animals also live in the savanna, for instance, the black mamba. This is the most deadly snake in the world. The black mamba is not actually black though, it has grayish brown skin. It only got its name because of the black outline of its mouth that it displays when it feels threatened.
