What is athletes foot?

Most cases of athletes foot are barely noticeable with just slightly dry, flaky skin. More extensive athletes foot may look like red, peeling, dry skin areas on one or both soles of feet.

There are three common types of athletes foot; soles of feet also called moccasin, between the toes also called interdigital and inflammatory type or blistering.
