Brownback hasn't addressed the issue for water conservation but if re-elected he plans to attend to the issue.

Brownback says that that we are I one of the worst droughts he has experienced but our farmers have the technology and knowledge that we won't have to repeat the 30's or 50's.

Brownback was asked if water availability is a national security issue and he responded saying that he thinks it's a global security issue if you pull the High Plains out of production, you drive the prices of food up globally.
