Fujita Scale

How does it measure?

The Fujita Scale classifies tornadoes according to the damage they cause. This is because a tornado can be large but weak and not do that much damage. However the scale does try to link wind speeds with damage. However, there are some problems with this measurement system.

-Tornadoes can only be measured after they have gone and left damage
-Tornadoes cannot be measured if there isn't enough damage to

Fact: There can never be an F6 tornado
