Rotational Force

-Tornadoes have a large amount of acceleration. -Basic acceleration is:

a=Δv/Δt

-When an object is rotating around something, the acceleration force to keep it rotating is:

F = ma = m v2 / r

Coriolis Force

The Earth rotates eastward and it rotates faster as you approach the Equator and it rotates slower at the poles.The Coriolis force is very weak and so that's why it needs to be a big thing like a tornado to have an effect. On the scale of large storms and hurricanes, the Coriolis force causes air to rotate around the centre in a cyclonic direction (counter clockwise in the northern hemisphere, clockwise in the southern hemisphere).
