Here are some Different types of Weathering
Ice wedging:
When water gets into the cracks of rocks and freezes, the ice expands. Since the ice has no space to expand, it makes space by breaking down the rock. This process is called ice wedging, and creates sediments.
Wind:
Sometimes, wind can pick up sediments like sand, and fly around with them. When this wind's sediments collides with rock, it acts like sandpaper. It grinds across the surface of the rock, and scrapes off more sediments.
Animal actions:
When some animals like moles dig burrows, they shift around soil and sometimes put it on the surface. These actions are considered to be weathering.
