Significance of Quote

State of mind- Lady Macbeth has achieved what she orginally intended, but the outcome is much different than she expected. The price she has payed for her power has driven her to insanity, and a burden that she will never be free from has been placed on her shoulders. Her state of mind has been completely broken, and the desire she originally possessed has driven her to insanity.
