Development of England and France

William the Conqueror: William was duke of Normandy and, as William I, the first Norman king of England. He defeated and killed the last Anglo-Saxon king of England at the Battle of Hastings.
Henry the 2nd: was the king of France during the mid-16th century.
Magna Carta: A document guaranteeing basic political rights in England, drawn up by nobles and approved by King John in A.D. 1215
Parliament: body of representativss that makes laws for a nation
Louis the 5th: was born in 1214 and became King of France when twelve years old
