HYDROGEN IS NUMBER ONE!

Hydrogen is an element located at group one, period one on the periodic table of elements (abbreviated as H, it's atomic symbol). It's atomic number is 1, which means a hydrogen atom only has one proton in its nucleus. It also only has one electron, and NO neutrons (except for hydrogen's two isotopes), making it the simplest of atoms. It's atomic mass is also about 1, or 1.00794, to be exact.
