His early life
Early life
At ten years old his father was convicted for receiving stolen goods and was sent to bass straits. John Pascoe Fawkner went with his father. That's how he was sent to Australia. Because of Lack of wood and fresh water Lieutenant-Governor David Collins abandon the colony in 1804 with the settlers and convicts departing for the new town of Hobart in Van Diemen's Land.In 1806 he and his family started their life. He's family obtained a farm. At eighteen he became a builder and a sawyer. He then helped his father with his bakery .
Soon afterwards fell into trouble. On the 19 October 1814 from Lieut.-governor Davey to Lieutenant Jeffreys instructs him that he is to go on board with John Fawkner.
