- For this setting, used to describe the way that discrimination is posed to someone; mainly the way that that person perceives the discrimination.
- For example, if someone is being discriminated against, they may not know it because the manner in which it is delivered is such that they (the individual being discriminated against) perceives it as a compliment or as a means of protection.
