Cotton Club

The Cotton Club was originally Club Deluxe owned by Jack Johnson. Owney Madden in 1922 and changed it's name to Cotton Club. After race riots broke out in Harlem the area became labeled unsafe for whites. It reopened in September 1986. It continued to operate until June 1940.
