👉A force is a push or pull in any specific direction
👉Forces can slow down or speed up an objects motion
👉A force can also change the direction an objects moving
👉When an objects motion speeds up, it is called an acceleration.
👉The speed if something in a given direction is the velocity of an object.
👉A force can also act on ANY body of mass including us
👉The larger the mass of an object, the more force is needed to move it

👉Friction is a force that will always act against the way an object is moving. Friction will slow down an objects speed until the object comes to a compete stop.
👉Gravity-The size of the gravity's pull depends on the mass of the object and distance between them. When you look at really large masses, like the Earth and Moon, the gravitational pull is very strong. This force pulls every body of mass towards the Earths center. That explains why we don't float in space!

What Is a Force?

Different types of Forces

Gravity Friction

Examples of a force: kicking a soccer ball and
Opening a drawer

Example of Gravity- a basketball coming back down after you throw it in the air
Example of friction: a soccer ball will get slower and slower after you kick it, and eventually it will come to a complete stop.
