Conflicts

The main conflict of the book is that Ashley and Kristi find a doll in the garden, and they soon find out it was stolen from a young girl in the part. This young girl now haunts the area crying for her doll.
Until the girls can get to her world with the doll, the young girl will suffer.

A side conflict in The Doll In The Garden is that Ms.Cooper does not like anyone. As Ashley try's to return the doll, Ms.Cooper threatens to kick them out of the house they rent from her, making it really hard to help the young girl who haunts the land move on.
