2.) What were the causes of the Great Depression?

The stock market crashed and farmers failed to grow necessary crops. Banks ran out of money because people could not pay their debts. The gov. wasn't supporting the banks, so everyone with savings lost it leaving them with no money. Since people had no money to use, factories and stores closed, which resulted in thousands losing their jobs.
