Discussion

The goal of our experiment was to find if sulfur dioxide effects the growth of a bean plant. In this experiment we varied sulfur dioxide in one plant and none in the other in order to find out if there is any growth defects. During the three weeks we saw that the leaves became shriveled and small, but there was no significant growth defects.

In the future , we would choose aerosol exposure, that is found in hairspray, as another variable to test using the same material. This experiment would be conducted in the following manner: we would spray the hairspray on the plant in an enclosed area.
