Character Analysis

Mathidle Loisel is selfish. She thinks that she has to have the nicest jewels and always look the best. When her husband goes threw all this trouble to get her an invitation to the fancy ball she is not thankful. She throws a fit about it and wants to throw the invitation away. She should have just been thankful that her husband was trying to do something nice for her.
