Tay-Sachs is an disorder that destroys that nerves cells the the brain and spinal cord. This appears in infants 3 to 6 months olds. Their development slows and muscles for movement weakens. Infants start to lose the abitly to turn over, sitting, and crawling. Children with Tay-Sachs usually only lives in to early childhood.
