The volcanic Eruption of Krakatoa
Krakatoa (Indonesian name Krakatau1) was an island of three volcanic cones in the probe Strait, between Java and Sumatra. It was located near the region of subduction of the Indoaustralian plate under the Eurasian plate. The name Krakatau is used to designate the Group of islands surrounding the main island (also called Rakata) and a well-known volcano entered erupted repeatedly, massively and with disastrous consequences throughout history. In May 1883 he began a series of eruptions that continued until August 27 of that year, when a cataclysmic explosion blew the island.
In the year 417 b.C the volcano erupted for the first time. Years later the volcano erupted more times,and all the times with disastrous consequences. Te Krakatoa volcano has the récord of the sound more strong. In the eruption of 1833 the explosión sounds 5000 kilometres long
