Writing System

Aksum had a writing system know as the "Ge'ez". This writing system is still used today in Ethiopia. There were three forms of this writing. The Ge'ez writing, Ge'ez Abjad, and Ge'ez Abugida. Both of the writing systems besides Ge'ez died off in the fifth century AD. The forms of writing all started in the fifth and sixth century BC.
