MAYA CIVILIZATION DECLINES

Around 900, people had started to leave the cities and went to the hillsides. We don't know why they left and it's still a mystery today. There are many theories to explain these such as there was too many people and not enough food. It could've been that the weather was bad and it was too hard to grow crops. It could even be that the King's were too demanding and citizens then rebelled. We just know that there could be more than one reason why this civilization declined.
