Mythical Beast

Have you ever heard of a sharkodile?
They are fast and steady, like they could run a mile.
You could say their appearance is weird.
Their legs are short and geared.
They are as fast as a train,
And man can they entertain.
They hunt their prey at night,
And are always ready to fight.
Not only are they fast on land,
But they can swim past the sand.
Into the ocean they go,
Swimming with a magnificent flow.
They might come off as mean or hairy
But when you get to know them, they're not that scary.
