Summary:

This accident happened because the careless driver was drinking and not wearing his seat belt. He was also drinking illegally and because of his poor decisions someone's life was lost. The 17 year old who was driving was injured but nothing life threatening. The 18 year old passenger died a few hours after hitting the tree. This 17 year old got a DUI, Reckless driving, and failure to wearing a seat belt. In my opinion he deserves more then just that. Every time someone gets in the car and the moment you start the car, their life is in your hands. He failed.
