ADVANTAGES OF TIDAL ENERGY

🔻 Once the turbines are built, tidal energy is free.
🔻 By taking only advantage of the tides, it does not produce any greenhouse gases, water pollutants, or other waste.
🔻 It needs no additional fuel.
🔻 It reliably produces electricity
🔻 Not expensive to maintain.
🔻 Tides are completely predictable, allowing the amount energy production to be predicted.
🔻 No material resources are used or changed in the production of tidal power, making it a truly renewable power form.
🔻 Tidal power devices are fully or nearly completely submerged in water well offshore. This reduces the “damaging of water views” that has been associated with offshore wind turbines.
