Tribal Leadership

Probably one of the most important books ever written on leading a team that functions like a tribe.  If there was only one book on management that I could recommend this would be it.

The founder of Zappos thought this book was so important that he made the audio book free.  It’s a great and easy listen.

Great by Choice is one of the most inspiring books on achieving great things that you will ever find.  This text was written by the ever brilliant Jim Collins, who is well known for writing some of the best books on leadership and organization development available to day.  He researches thousands of cases to find out what works and what doesn’t.  

Delivering Happiness

This book is a real life example of how tribal leadership can make a company great, and great fun. Tony Hsieh ( pronounced “shey”) describes his inspiring startup stories and how he created one of the happiest companies around.  This is a must listen, because the audio book is read by Tony himself.

This text has great stories about explorations to the south poll, climbs to the top of mount everest, and many business success stories as well.  In this text Collins, will look at pairs of similar cases and show how the decisions made by inspired leaders made the difference in their team achieving greatness.  It’s truly a great read.
