Climate Adaptations
Climate adaptations for hot and humid climate deserts for plants are that they have extensive roots that extend far from the plant itself, so it can obtain any of the little rainfall possible for growing. Some climate adaptations for animals would be the mechanisms they have developed to survive in the desert. Some animals stay relatively immobile, or they don't move about during the day, such as meerkats, or jackrabbits. Some animals like the Desert Lark have fur that match the desert soil, that reflect the sunlight.
