Climate Adaptations
Adaptations for plants in the cold climate deserts are for them to shed their leaves and change to spiny leaves. Also, they adapt to what's around them, so there are a lot of grasses in cold climate deserts. The adaptations for animals in the cold climate deserts are that small mammals dig holes for themselves, such as kangaroos, rats, or coyotes, to wait out the cold weather. Deer grow their fur out very thick, then migrate in Spring, shedding their fur.
