Procedure

1.Label six popsicle sticks as "control" and another six as "variable. "
2.Measure 40ml regular potting soil into each 50ml cavity of the "control" six pack planter.
3.Repeat step 2 above for the variable six pack planter.
4.Plant one bean plant seed in each cavity of each planter.
5.Water the control planter with 20ml of water each day.
6.Water one half of the variable bean plants with 40ml of water each day.
7.Water the other three variable plants with 5ml of water each day.
8.Record the height of every plant each day.
