Background Research

Our topic is the effect of water amount on plant growth. This topic is applicable to the world we live in because when we are in a drought we want to know how much water we have to use on plants so we use the minimum amount of water, and we need to use the proper amount of water so that our plants grow big and strong so that they can continue to produce oxygen for us to live.
In the article,"Plants and Water" the topic of how water helps plants and enters plants is discussed.
The article title "Over-watering and Under-watering" discusses what happens to plants that have too little or too much water and why they need the proper balance of water. It's shows that overwatering plants can drown the roots, and under watering can starve the plant.
