Work and Education

Mary was a archaeologist and a paleoanthropologist. When she was younger, her father had taught her to read and write and passed on his curiosity and knowledge for archaeology. Mary started working at a dig sight when she was just 17 years old without going to college. Her knowledge about archaeology is how she met her future husband, Louis Leakey.
