Endangered Organisms
Amur Leopard
The Amur Leopard is an animal that lives in the Russian taiga biomes and is currently critically endangered due to the high demand and hunting for its fur and destruction of habitats. Another reason it's closer to extinction is due to the low genetic variation in the gene pools. In fact, it's stated that it's the lowest of all leopards. Estimates of remaining Amur Leopard range from only 25-45 individuals in the world.
