Social and the role of Native Americans and Women

Religion- The religion of Jamestown was the Church of England.

Slavery- At first they had slaves for a few years and then they released them.

Women- the role of women in Jamestown were to come to Virginia, get married, and to try and start a family in Virginia. They came to make Jamestown a permanent town.

Native Americans- at first tobacco planters made the Native Americans work but that didn't work because they got diseases from the Europeans. So they disappeared for a while. Some of the Indians helped the settlers but some of them fought with them.
