Those that commit themselves will be successful in the long run. People started to come into money and had to commit their lives to it like Gatsby did to his business with Wolfsheim. Gatsby dreamed of being successful and rich so he committed himself fully into becoming what he thought would be a perfect "rich man". In the song, Mike Shinoda was raps about how to become successful, one has to commit themselves fully to doing so.
