The author describes visit to Pi's house and Pi is showing him family memorabilia. Pi shows the author weeding pictures and pictures of Richard Parker. The worst part of it is that he could hardly remember his mother. Pi states, " as soon as I try to have a good look at her, she fades" (Martel 108).
