Chapter 32

In this chapter Pi describes the living arrangements of the animals in the zoo. Certain animals can live together while other can't. For example, some mice can live several weeks with a snake while others disappear within days. He also explains the meaning of zoomorphism. What is zoomorphism? Pi states, "I believe the answer lies in something I mentioned earlier, that measure of madness that moves life in strange but saving ways" (Martel 106).
