Ancient Egypt
Javelin throwing was fist linked to hunting in ancient Egypt. The hieroglyphics suggest that hunters could hit their target in one throw. The javelin is thrown slightly upwards so that it revolves in quick spins, until it hits the target. It is a stick with a twisted end.
