Hard work and dedication leads to a successful future. People were able to forget about their lives and try to make a splash into the economy. In the book The Great Gatsby Gatsby said that "I've got a man in England that bring me shirts for each of the seasons. (Fitzgerald 99). This shows that Gatsby has a lot of money floating around and is able to use his money to get him further in life. In the book The Great Gatsby Jay Gatsby grew up and had to earn his money on his own (Fitzgerald 104). In this part of the book it shows that money is a big part to life in America. It also shows that people have to work to make a change in their life. In conclusion, many people where able to prosper and strive in life. It also, allowed many people to become successful in their everyday life.
