Dark and light images

Dark: concealment,secrets, and evil

Light: guilt free, truth,
happiness, and honesty

These two images are the exact opposite of each other, being of good or evil. In the two pictures there is a sun and an eclipse. It represents how the puritan society thinks of people and there sins. If the person is of light they have not sinned and are socially accepted to the community. If the person is of dark than the sin that has taking over their life makes them a terrible person in the eyes of the community which then they are automatically shunned and left to fend for themselves.
