More on our Voice

The length of the vocal chords is what determines the pitch of the voice. There are six groups: bass, baritone, tenor for men, and alto, mezzo soprano, and soprano for women. Other things that can make the voice different is the movement of the tounge, the shape of lips, the why the teeth are placed, the nose, and sinuses. Since the structure and movement on all people are different, no voices can be exactly the same.
