Why do some people's voices change?
The larynx, or voice box, actually gets bigger and grows when we go through puberty. When a boy reaches puberty, his body produces a lot of testosterone. This stuff causes your larynx to grow which causes the vocal chords to get longer and thicker. This can cause your voice to change.
