Gas Giants

The four outer (dwarf planets not included) planets in order are all gas giants. In order, they are Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. Some common characteristics are.... Jupiter: Jupiter is the largest planet in the solar system. We don't know very much about it other than its atmosphere because the atmosphere is so dense we can't see the surface. If it even has one, it's obviously got a lot of mass, because the layer of gas in Jupiter's atmosphere is about 10,000 ft. thick we I can't tell what's through it. In fact, we've sent a probe there before, but it didn't get very far at all before it was crushed from the pressure of Jupiter's atmosphere. Next is Saturn. Saturn is almost the same as Jupiter except its a little smaller and has large rings around it made of tiny bits of ice. Then there is Uranus. Uranus is almost completely sideways. We think that a very large meteor or asteroid must have hit it and made it tilt during the earliest stages of the planets in the solar system. It's much colder and much smaller than Jupiter and Saturn. Then there's Neptune. Neptune is the same as Uranus except slightly colder and not the exact same size, but close. It's not tipped over like Uranus either.
