How did style evolve?
Dresses in the 20's were light, bright and short. Sometimes in the evenings they wore coats usually with fur on the. While men usually either wore suits with a tie for work or a button down shirt with a tie and both usually wore slim yet baggy jeans.
While in the 1960's women wore full skirted gowns with low neckline and close fitting waists. Stiletto heels were used a lot. Men used more bright colors and crazy patters in their suits and ties. Leather boots and collar less jackets were worn for casual wear.
Then in 1990's women's wore leg warmers, parachute pants different colored socks, balloon skirts, vests. Sports or denim jackets, they would fold their straight pants to make them skinnier, overalls with flannels under.
From the 2000's every year style has changed so there isn't really a specific style that everyone wears. Now a days people mix it up.
