Stanley Kubrick was an American film director, screenwriter, producer, cinematographer, and editor who did most of his work as an expatriate in the United Kingdom. He is regarded by many as one of the greatest filmmakers of all time. His films, typically adaptations of novels or short stories, are noted for their "dazzling"[1] and unique cinematography, attention to detail in the service of realism, and the evocative use of music.

Aaliyah Dana Haughton (January 16, 1979 – August 25, 2001) was an American recording artist, dancer and actress, who rose to fame when she emerged as an R&B singer in the mid-1990s with the release of her debut studio album, Age Ain't Nothing But a Number (1994). Often cited as the "Princess of R&B" and the "Queen of Urban Pop," Aaliyah was well known for her hip-hop style dance choreography, that she often exhibited in her music videos. The singer was killed in a plane crash on August 25, 2001 at the age of twenty two. Aaliyah has sold an estimated 32 million albums worldwide, including several posthumous releases.
