Uses of refined and unrefined oil

Refined oil has numerous uses which include vehicle fuels and fuel for electricity. The process of distillation separates its former form, crude oil, into many different substances that have varied uses such as diesel, petroleum and other gases.

Crude oil is the substance drawn directly from the ground and has a thick, black color. Without the distillation process, crude oil has little use but a few uses such as heating can be scavenged from it. The most profitable use would to sell it to the distillation plant.
