Any food web has to have on thing eat another, so, the organisms that eat the producers are call primary consumers. Consumers are organisms that eat other living things. The Savannah has many primary consumers, so plant population has to be high for any Savannah survival.

Primary Consumers/ What They Eat:
Dik Diks: eat the small low twigs on Acacia Trees.
Antelope: eat the small low twigs on Acacia Trees.
Impalas: eat high twigs and leaves on Acacia Trees.
Elephants: eat Acacia leaves.
Gerenuks: eat any Savannah vegetation.
Giraffes: eat high up plants, leaves, and twigs.
Buffalo: eat any Savannah vegetation.
Wildebeests: eat any Savannah vegetation.
Zebras: eat any Savannah vegetation.
