Savannah Secondary Consumers

Since our food web is a cycle of who eats who, something needs to eat the primary consumers, so we have secondary consumers. Secondary Consumers are carnivores, so they eat other animals.

Secondary Consumers/ What They Eat:
Snakes: eat Dik Diks, and small Antelope .
Spiders: eat remains of Dik Diks and Impalas.
Hawks: eat Dik Diks, Impalas, Gerenuks, and Antelope.
Meerkats: eat dead Dik Diks, dead Antelope, dead Impalas, and dead Gerenuks.
Wild Dogs: eat Dik Diks, Antelope, Impalas, and Gerenuks.
