As you can clearly see as you look throughout history, inventions have become less and less about fixing problems, and more and more about making things efficient and easier. It's not a bad thing, but while other problems are forming, we're focusing on what we can improve. I feel that we should be improving what isn't good, instead of what is perfectly fine to begin with. But I guess that takes the fun out of it, right? We'll find out in about another decade, when the next predicted industrial revolution begins.
