Although people think this is so, Steve Jobs actually did not invent the iPhone by himself. He addressed the idea to his employees when he was CEO of Apple around 2000 of a touch screen, multitask phone.
It was actually his employee, John Casey, who sent him an email of a design similar to the iPhone. The iPhone ended up replacing a different phone Apple and Motorola had formed together. It had many problems, so they discontinued that in 2002. Steve Jobs continued to work on the design of the iPhone, and in 2007 at the Macworld convention, he introduced the iPhone for the first time.
The iPhone replaced a less practical touch screen. This newer phone has a motion censor that allows you to flip the screen, and it even has an artificial intelligence to help you when you have questions. There was nothing wrong with the old phones, however, this generation likes a more efficient and light way of doing anything.
