Steven d. Levitt

Steven is a 46 year old American economist who is known for his field work of crime.

He is the winner of the John bates Clark medal in 2004

Currently a professor of economics at the university of Chicago.

Graduated from Harvard university with a b.a in economics and then went on to MIT to receive his phd.

His work on various economic topics include crime, politics and sports. Includes over 60 academic publications.

In 2006, he was named one of time magazines, "100 people who shape our world".

Co authored freakonomics and the sequel superfreakonomics alongside Stephen j. Dubner.
